
How Our Roastery Was Born

What started as a spark of passion in our daughter Hannah has grown into a family tradition. After traveling to Costa Rica and falling in love with a sustainable coffee farm,
Hannah brought home more than beans—she brought home inspiration. She began roasting coffee in her little house, perfecting each batch with care.

When Hannah married and moved on to her next chapter, her dad and I couldn’t let the passion fade. We picked up the torch, and from that love of coffee, Hocking Hills Roastery was born.

Today, we specialize in Fair Trade coffee beans sourced from around the world, always roasted fresh and never left sitting on the shelf. We hope to expand into cacao and nuts one day, but no matter what we roast, we stay grounded in the same values that started it all: quality, sustainability, and community.

That’s why we use recyclable and compostable packaging, and why we created our Cold Brew Exchange program for locals—delivering freshly brewed cold coffee in reusable glass bottles at an affordable price.
